One country to volunteer to test new ideas, like sortition or a ban on social media, before the rest of us apply them.

There are many bright ideas for reinventing the world. Including those on this site.

What is lacking is the will to try them at scale.

Various cities and regions are experimenting.

But a full country would provide a uniquely powerful example.

Its citizens would need to sign up, and have a say on which ideas it agreed to test.

But it would become a hotbed of progressive minds and companies.

And a force to overcome inertia.

A prototype country to inspire the world.
